About Corcoran College of Art and Design
Founded in 1890, the Corcoran College of Art and Design is the oldest and
most comprehensive professional college of art and design in Washington, DC.
Part of the distinguished Corcoran Gallery of Art, and a vital force in
the nation's art education community, the fully-accredited College offers a
four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree program in Fine Art, Graphic
Design, Digital Media Design, Photography and Photojournalism.
Two-year Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree programs are offered in Fine
Art, Interior Design and Photography.
And more than 3,500 people enroll each year in the Continuing Education
program, encompassing more than 250 courses and seven certificate programs
for part-time study.
It is the largest and most diversified program of its kind in the
nation's capital.
